I was attracted to the adorable apron from the book "Seems to Me" (above). I had the idea to make aprons for my mom, sister and sister-in-law, then decided to make "his and hers" aprons for each couple visiting for Christmas, then had another idea to make them all out of tea towels to "simplify" the process.
I'm certainly not the first to come up with the idea of a dish towel apron. In fact, the blogs with tea towel tutorials are endless including this one and this one and this one or browse a few tutorials here. Tie One On even had a dishtowel apron album on flickr.
Coming up next: more inspiration I found, the "simplified" process (yeah, right), and, eventually, the finished product!
