Indulgence #127: Create a Relaxation Room

The point of this task is to make a space specifically for personal relaxation. It's different than a workspace or a bedroom or even the living room or family room. So how do you accomplish that when there isn't a room to spare? Of course, you claim a corner. Thing is, with a family of four in a 3-bedroom house, most corners are claimed. Brylee's room has play space and reading space and sleeping space. The office/nursery already does double duty with workspace claiming an entire wall and the rest of the space dedicated to baby. I've often retreated to our bedroom (which I happen to love), but even that is often taken up with laundry sorting and Daniel's guitar stuff. So...

I did a little rearranging in the living room, and managed to create the reading corner I've wanted since the day we moved in. It's simple and out of the way, with TV and clutter out of sight. Magazines are within reach and the green lamp that's rarely been used in the three years we've owned it hangs perfectly overhead making a great light to read by. Mmmmm... happy relaxing to me.
