Edible Cookie Dough {What an indulgence!}

I love cookie dough. Sadly, (don't get too grossed out) I don't even care if it has... gasp... raw eggs in it. But, alas, I do know it's not safe so I'm trying to change my ways.

This recipe is the first step.

I've made vegan cookies (and thus edible cookie dough) before. But there's something about replacing eggs with flax seed or some other binding replacement that takes away from the cookie-dough-eating experience.

This recipe leaves out the egg entirely, rather than attempting to replace it. Meant for cookie dough eating, so don't try to bake.

{EDIBLE VEGAN COOKIE DOUGH}
1 1/2 sticks (3/4 c.) margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips

The recipe I copied called for 2 cups flour and 4 TBSP milk, but by leaving out a bit of the flour I didn't need the milk and it turned out just fine and vegan :)

{Meet Virginia: Cookie Dough Peanut Butter Cups}

I actually came across the recipe on (you guessed it) Pinterest for these Cookie Dough Peanut Butter Cups. Oh my goodness! They look so yummy!! Chocolate/peanut butter and cookie dough are two of my favorite indulgences, and combining them into one treat just sounds divine!

I have everything in my cupboard to make them, so what am I waiting for?! My sister and I were having a girl's night and wanted a quick treat, so we stalled out after making the cookie dough. But... these will be made... Soon!
