In my perfect world...

...I'd be a traveling writer that somehow manages to also be an excellent home maker and a natural evangelist. I'd blog at coffee shops, make homemade baby food, and recycle everything.

My house would be fabulously decorated with cheap clearance or thrift store finds and lots of DIM (Do It Myself) projects. I'd learn skills like cooking and photography and be able to play guitar and carry a tune. I'd learn Spanish more than just "Mono y yo fuimos a ver unos..." and I'd get paid reasonably for my freelance writing, because people would want to read my stuff.

My husband and I would get no less than 1 night a week to date like smitten teenagers, and maintain separate girls and guys nights. I would eat 3-5 servings each of fruits and vegetables a day and possibly more because I am a vegetarian afterall. I'd excersice daily and even get into some specific resistance and cardio training. My house would be clean, organized, simple, and functional--ditto with my life, which would all reflect praise to God.

My world isn't perfect, but my life is a never-ending journey to that point.

Here's to the journey...
